CONSULTATION $300 — 60 - 90+ minutes
Living with a cat can be one of the most rewarding relationships in your life. It can also be one of the most challenging when your cat's actions are offensive to you. No one likes it when their cat pees outside the litter box or starts to use the new sofa as a scratching post.

This site is full of educational information and suggestions designed to help you understand why cats do what they do and solutions for modifying behaviors.
Take a browse through the Cat Talk Radio podcasts (there are over 270 if them!), our blog page, check out the behavior products we carry, and follow us on Facebook for cat behavior information.

If you have exhausted our library of information, and implemented the suggestions given, and are still having issues with your cat, a one-on-one behavior consultation with a cat behavior expert could help you.

A Cat Behavior Specialist helps to diagnose what might be causing your cat to behave the way it does and help modify that behavior with a treatment plan. A treatment plan might involve you modifying the environment, changing nutritional intake, learning new ways to interact with your cat and more.
Consultations are done virtually thru Zoom or Skype. You’ll need to be on a mobile device where you can take Molly around the home and show her the setting, cats, and cats’ things. The donation fee for a behavior consultation with Molly is $300 for the entire case. There are no sales taxes applied to consult fee because Cat Behavior Solutions is a non-profit, and a donation receipt for your itemized income tax return is downloadable when you make payment. The case includes the video call, which generally takes 1 hour, however, there is no limit to the length of time spent on the call. Generally, you will have back and forth email follow ups with Molly in the weeks after the initial call – which is all included in the case. On-site consultations may be conducted in your home if Molly is in your geographical area. There is an additional donation fee for in-home consultations, based upon the complexity of the case and travel distance. Please contact us if you’d like a quotation for an in-home consult.

If you would like to schedule a behavior consultation, please click here to make a $300 consultation fee payment, which is due prior to the consultation time. After the payment is made, Molly will reach out to you directly to schedule a day and time that works for both of you. You will receive a link to an Initial Consultation Form in the confirmation email; please be sure to fill that out as quickly as possible so she has the information about your case up front.

REIKI TREATMENT $300 — 60 minutes
If your cat is suffering from trauma, or a physical ailment, oftentimes a Reiki treatment can help sooth them. Learn more about Reiki here. You will get on a zoom call with Molly and she will teach you how to channel Reiki energy to your cat while she conducts long distance Reiki healing. This will allow you to continue to treat your cat long after the consultation is over. This is not a full Reiki Level I certification, but Molly will give you the symbols and hand positions you need to treat your cat’s specific condition.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am already seeing a difference and I can't express how happy and hopeful I am!"

Shelters
Shelters are very overwhelming, even for a cat who was confident in their home environment. Their routines have changed, everything smells different, other cats are threatening, and they've been stripped of having choices and control. Often these cats become fractious or depressed, making them overlooked.

In high volume shelters, where space is limited, length of stay is shorter, and no cat behavior staff to work with them, often there is no choice but to humanely euthanize them before they become ill due to the increased stress.

Molly and Vitakraft have teamed up to create Feline Right at Home – a FREE behavior modification online training program for shelter staff and volunteers to help cats become more adoptable. Check it out here

PSYCH EVALUATION $200 — 45+ minutes
This is a comprehensive assessment, conducted by Molly, to determine your cat’s environmental quality – and thus your cat’s mental health status, and potential stress factors. Molly will make recommendations for improvement. Oftentimes this type of assessment, and changes to the environment, can prevent future unwanted behaviors from developing. The evaluation will look at the cat’s physical, behavioral, mental, social, and nutritional environments.
